PURPOSE: To easily separate a thermal development photosensitive material and image receiving paper from each other by superposing center parts of the photosensitive material and image receiving paper on each other, conveying the both one over another so that their front and rear end parts and both side end parts are not superposed, and providing a rocking member at the downstream side in the conveyance direction.
CONSTITUTION: The thermal development photosensitive material with pigment which is exposed to form an image, and heated and moved and the image receiving paper P which has a fixation layer for the pigment are superposed at center parts as shown in a figure so that front and rear end parts and both side end parts do not overlap each other. Projection part of the image receiving paper are clamped between conveyor rollers 40 and 40, and 41 and 41, which are rotated to convey them as shown by an arrow. The passing of the image receiving paper P is detected by an unshown sensor and the rocking member 42 is elevated to separate the image receiving paper P and material N from each other. The image receiving paper P and material N when opposite are separated similarly. Consequently, the photosensitive material and image receiving paper are separated automatically and securely after transfer operation.
