PURPOSE: To shorten a heating time until a desired temperature is achieved by bringing heated gas in contact with metal wheels when wheels mounted to a racing vehicle are heated.
CONSTITUTION: In a heating device 1, totally four wheels 2a to 2d of one racing vehicle are heated by being stacked vertically on a base 14 and air inside tires can be heated, for instance up to 80°C within a short time (e.g. 30min.). The outer peripheral surface 4c of the tire 4 of each wheel 2 is surrounded by a tire heating means 11 and can be heated by an electric heater. An attaching hole 17 is formed in the center position of the base 14 and a hot wind generating means 18 is provided facing this attaching hole 17. Hot wind blown out of this hot wind generating means 18 goes up passing through the center hole of a wheel 3 and a bolt penetrating hole, flows outward after passing through a space between the uppermost wheel 2d and a cap 27 and the wheel 3 of the wheel 2 is heated during this period.
