Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow a caller side of an ISDN telephone set to confirm the arrival of its call to a desired called party.
CONSTITUTION: A storage circuit 4 has a function of storing a character code to be sent/received through the use of a B-channel of an ISDN interface, a function of converting the character code into a transmission reception form through the use of a B-channel, and a function of sending a character code received from the B-channel to a display circuit 6 on which the character code is displayed. A B-channel switch 3 has a function of selecting data through the B-channel to be sent/received to/from a line termination circuit 1 to a voice conversion circuit 5 or a storage circuit 4 under the control of a line control circuit 2.
