Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to obtain superposition images without artifacts by multiplying data on sub-images by a weight function so that sub-image areas with artifacts are given a weight smaller than the areas without artifacts. SOLUTION: Body coil arrangement 1 and surface oil arrangement 2 are controlled by control unit 3 in transmitting mode and receiving mode. MR images formed by a receiver and process unit 4 are showed monitor 5. Each channel form surface coil arrangement 2 to the receiver and process unit 4 has weighting units 6-9. The receiver and process unit 4 replay all the sub- images individually on monitor 5. Users select weight functions of an individual sub-image or change weight functions of sub-images so that sub-image areas with artifacts can be weighted smaller than that in the areas without artifacts.
