Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for monitoring a welding quality capable of exactly informing the welding in which the required welding strength is not obtained.
SOLUTION: A welding quality monitoring device is provided with a detection part 6 to measure a welding current and a welding voltage between electrodes, an operation part to numerically analyze a temperature distribution and a energization diameter from the detected value of the detection part 6 based on a heat transfer model and to presume a presumed nugget diameter, a nugget diameter setting part 9, a first nugget diameter comparison part 8 to calculate a presumed forming time which is a time when the presumed nugget diameter exceeds the set value of the nugget diameter by comparing the presumed nugget diameter with the set value of the nugget diameter, a nugget diameter setting part 14 at the other forming time, a second nugget diameter comparison part 13 to compare the presumed nugget diameter at the presumed forming time with the set value of the nugget diameter at the other forming time, and an output part 12.
