PURPOSE: To surely open a cartridge without possibility that any external force is given to a film incorporated in the cartridge by making the pawl of a lever abut on the end of the fastening part of a cap and rotating the lever centering around a position symmetric with a position in the cap where the pawl is made to abut so that the cap may be detached.
CONSTITUTION: When photographing is finished and the cartridge 1 where the film is completely wound up is opened, the cartridge 1 is inserted in a housing hole 10 with a part where the spool 6 of the cartridge 1 protrudes long as a rear, so that the pawl 8 of the lever 7 is pressed by the swollen fastening part of the preceding cap 4 and then a top 14 is rotated. As soon as the fastening part passes the pawl 8, the top 14 is restored and the pawl 8 abuts on the end of the fastening part. Then, the cap 4 is detached by rotating an oscillating plate 11 as if it falls ahead. Thus, the cap is detached and the cartridge is opened without damaging the incorporated film or adding pressing force.
