Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable high integration and to cancel increase in the download time of a template vector from a memory to a correlation value computing element even when the number of templates and the number of vector dimensions are increased.
SOLUTION: The correlation value operating device is composed of a DRAM memory cell array 10, a word line driver 12 and a sense amplifier 14. The word line driver is connected through a word line WL to a DRAM. This word line driver has a function capable of simultaneously activating plural word lines.
