PURPOSE: To readily process document data and data processing data by providing a hierarchical structure storage section, item attribute storage section, and an iterative processing section performing the same processing of iterative item.
CONSTITUTION: An item data storage section 6 stores data in item units for each item. Then, the program language representing the hierarchical relation between item units is entered. The relation is stored in a hierarchical structure storage section 7. In this case, information provided to be an iterative item unit is provided for the item being the same item unit in preparing document. Then, the data describing the attribute in each item unit is stored in an item attribute storage section 8. A data processing section 9 stores each item data to the item data storage section 6 according to the attribute. In case the item is repetitive, the processing of all iterative items can be performed when the only specific item in the iterative item is not limited.
