Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the track density by recording first information in a next track corresponding to the arrangement of the first information on the track recorded previously.
CONSTITUTION: The output of a photodiode 42 is inputted to a digitized circuit 56 and digitized, and is outputted to an exclusive OR OR circuit 66. Further, recording information being second information read out from a signal source 62 by a recording signal output circuit 64 is inputted to the circuit 66 previously. Then, the OR operation between the first information written in the adjacent track TA and the second information to be written in the recording track TB is performed in the circuit 66. The first information of the operated result is stored in a buffer circuit 68, and an XOR signal is supplied to a laser driver 70 by a timing signal. A pit line is formed on the track TB according to the operated result of the circuit 66, and is output-controlled by timing detection and the circuit 68 so as to correspond to the adjacent pit line. Thus, a reproducing device is utilized effectively, and the track density is improved.
