To provide a method and a device for home energy saving support which support the reduction of the energy consumption of each home and contribute to the spread of expensive energy-saving equipment and a home energy generating device.

An energy-saving table containing items of energy-saving means which are effective to the reduction of energy consumption and their effects is previously stored and monthly energy consumptions are inputted for a period of one past year; and monthly energy consumptions by uses are estimated on the basis of variations in monthly energy consumption and multiple effective energy-saving means are selected from the energy-saving table on the basis of the energy consumptions by the uses and displayed. The target value of energy consumption is set by subtracting energy-saving predicted quantities by the selected energy-saving means from the past energy consumption. The actual value of energy consumption is detected by using a means which automatically inputs measured values of integrating meters for energy consumption and compared with the target value for evaluation.
