Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide such method and device for testing a valve as utilizing a quantity which always represents reliable data for evaluating valve function.
CONSTITUTION: A current value It of a magnet 1a when an armature element 3a of a valve 2a begins to move during switching of the valve 2a is measured as a response current value IA. From the measured response current value IA, with a calibration function KF, the force acting on the armature element 3a by the magnet 1a when the armature element begins to move is measured both as a response force KA and a quantity representing condition of the valve A.
