Abstract:
To provide a method for detecting a specific structural change of a chromosome in esophagus squamous cell cancer and diagnosing the cancer, a vector usable in the diagnostic method and further a method by which the diagnostic method can simply be carried out by operation at a time.
This method for diagnosing the cancer comprises elucidating the presence of amplification or deficiency in a specific site in the chromosome of a cell of the esophagus squamous cell cancer and further detecting the site. The vector is usable in the diagnostic method and has a DNA fragment composed of the site.
