Abstract:
To provide a method of dispersing aggregate of ultrafine powder of cluster diamond synthesized by the impact pressure of a detonation method using an explosive in an organic solvent in a stable form.
Powdery cluster diamond is dispersed in a mixed solvent prepared by combining an organic solvent having ≥2 hydrophilic groups with an organic solvent having a hydrophilic group and a hydrophobic group as a dispersion medium. The application of the cluster diamond for a lubrication field or an electronic component fabrication field where the utilization in a nonaqueous system is highly required is extended by the method.
