PURPOSE: To produce a dispersion having the quality equal to the quality of flashed pigments, to decrease the amt. of the pigments to be used and to reduce the environmental danger and discarding cost in toner production by executing direct extrusion of wet cake pigments into a polymer.

CONSTITUTION: The wet cake of the pigments is directly dry blended with resins and other components in the production of the toners. Coloring agents are the pigments in the form of the wet cake. After the toner components are mixed, these components are further blended in an extruder. For example, the blending is executed during two discrete extrusions in a master batch method but in this method, the blending is started as an ordinary batch and, in such a case, the resin mixture having the ample pigments is introduced in a supplying port. This mixture is melted and mixed and the additive molten resins are injected into the extruder in the last of the mixing zone. The mixture is mixed in the next heating zone of the extruder. The product has the dispersion quality of the product in the complete master batch method. The product is delivered from the extruder by one time of the passage at the adequate compounding ratio of the pigments.
