Abstract:
To provide an antenna reflector small in diameter in storage.
The antenna reflector 100 includes a centrally-located hub 120, inner ribs 108 rotatable at a proximal end of the hub, outer ribs 110 extensible from the inner ribs, and a guideline truss structure 132, 160 configured to support a flexible antenna reflector surface 122. The inner ribs are rotatable from a storage position at which they are generally arranged along the central axis of the hub, to a rotated position at which they extend in a radial direction relative to the central axis. The guideline truss secures each outer rib using standoff cords attached at intermediate locations along the length of the outer rib between opposing ends 116, 118 of the outer rib.
