Title:
METHOD OF FIRE-RESISTIVE COVERING CONSTRUCTION FOR STEEL FRAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH1088694
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To prevent the generation of dust on the field of the execution of works, to shorten the term of works and to reduce cost by sticking a fire-resistive molding material such as a beforehand cut gypsum board on the surface of a steel frame by using an inorganic fire-resistive solidifying agent such as sodium silicate.

Rock wool boards 2 as a fire-resistive molding material are cut beforehand in conformity with the shape of a steel frame in a factory, etc. A fire-resistive solidifying agent mainly comprises sodium silicate, etc., the hardening accelerator of a carbonate, a viscosity modifier such as a kaolin mineral, fire-resistive lightweight aggregate such as obsidian perlite, and the fillers of a heat-resistive fiber such as a ceramic fiber are mixed, and viscosity is properly adjusted beforehand. The rock wool boards 2 are dipped in a vessel, into which the fire-resistive solidifying agent is introduced, on the field of the execution of works, and stuck so as to surround the periphery of a H-steel column 1. The whole is dried and solidified for several days, and the integral molded form 3 of the rock wool boards 2 and the solidifying layers 4 of the fire-resistive solidifying agent is manufactured. Accordingly, the term of works is shortened, construction cost is reduced, and quality control can be improved.
