To provide a forming method that enables an edge connector which is preferable for a density increase in a board, displays high reliability of connections, and enables connections to be made through the side faces of the board to be formed as making a load small at cutting, to provide the edge connector obtained through the above forming method, and to provide a wiring board equipped with the above edge connector.
The edge connector forming method forms a connector T1 on the edge of the wiring board by cutting off an aggregate BO of wiring boards B1 each equipped with an uncut terminal T0 at a cutting line CL. The uncut terminal T0 is formed into a columnar shape by etching using a mask layer, and the mask layer is formed into a shape split along the cutting line CL or a shape having a notch cut at the cutting line CL.
