PURPOSE: To rapidly obtain a color reversal image having the high max. density and the good gradation by using a black and white developer which contains a thiocyanate of 0W1.0×10-2mol./l for a 1st development.
CONSTITUTION: In the case that the positive type color image is formed by the 1st development and the color development processings, a reversal photosensitive material comprises at least one of a silver halide emulsion layer which contains a silver halide particle contg. silver chloride, and is mounted on a supporting body, and is developed with the black and white developer which contains the thiocyanate of 0W1.0×10-2mol./l. thus, the color reversal image is formed by processing for a short period, without causing soft gradation of the foot part of said image, and deteriorating the max. density of said image.
