To provide a method for forming a printing sheet by which a roll of sheets for linerless printing can be sequentially taken up backward in a stable condition and subjected to an efficient printing process while being conveyed without meandering with such other advantages that the roll of sheets can be taken up backward and conveyed as smoothly as before the suspension of the printing process, even when it is resumed after a long period of the suspension and continuously printed in a stable condition and further, the satisfactory printing properties can be maintained for a long time with an outstanding printing life and a device using this method can be easily manufactured.
The roll (13) of the sheets (1) for linerless printing having a self-adhesive layer (12) formed on the back of a base material to be printed (11) without a protecting cover, is taken up backward through a conveyance roll (21) which is formed of a silicone rubber containing a silicone oil and has a support shaft of a symmetrical shape to the right/left with the center part whose diameter is larger than those of both end parts. Further, ink information is donated to the base material to be printed (11) through a printing mechanism (2) during conveying the roll (13). Thus the method for forming the printing sheet and the printing device using this method are provided.
