Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the core-loss characteristic of a product by fining the interval of a magnetic domain wall without damaging a surface with the electron beam treatment of a sheet surface and besides, giving an energy density sufficient for reducing a core loss. CONSTITUTION: At least one surface of a sheet is treated by an electron beam. and a narrow, substantially parallel band is formed as a treatment region separated by an untreated region in the direction of substantially crossing the direction of manufacturing a sheet. Also, in the electron beam treatment, a linear energy density sufficient for subdividing a magnetic domain interval without damaging the change of the shape of the sheet and the coat of the sheet is given thereto. Therefore, the loss of a sheet for electricity or a strip which has finally annealed magnetic domain structure is improved.
