Abstract:
To provide a novel therapeutic method targeting a cancer stem cell-like cell, where the method is used for preventing and completely curing metastasis/recurrence of cancer.SOLUTION: Provided is a method in which a cancer stem cell-like cell is acquired from a cell population having cancer cells on the basis of an expression of neuropilin 1(NRP1) or insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF1R), an expression of FXYD domain-containing ion-transporting regulator 3 (FXYD3) is detected regarding an acquired cancer stem cell-like cell, and the cell is fractionated into a resting cancer stem cell-like cell of high FXYD3 expression and a proliferative cancer stem cell-like cell of low FXYD3 expression.SELECTED DRAWING: None
