To attain the measurement with less dispersion at a low cost while enhancing a measurement limit of D/A converters by measuring the rise time difference of a PWM signal waveform outputted from a measured D/A converter over a plurality of periods and discriminating propriety of the D/A converter based on the obtained rise time difference.
A PWM rise time difference measurement device 102 measures a leading time difference over pluralities of period of a PWM signal waveform outputted from a PWM system D/A converter 101 being a check object. The rise time of the PWM signal has a correlation between the reliability and the analog characteristic of the D/A converter to discriminate the propriety of the D/A converter 101 being the check object. Thus, the analog characteristic with high accuracy is warranted. Moreover, the check of D/A converters at a comparatively low cost with less dispersion is realized without the need for a high precision A/D converter.
