PURPOSE: To provide an adhering method, which can adhere an optical crystal to a body-to-be-polished carrier in a short time without requiring the skillfulness, and provide a polishing jig for improving the accuracy of degree of flatness and degree of parallel of an optical crystal.

CONSTITUTION: The crystal body polishing method consists of an adhering process for attaching an elastic body 6 (thickness at 0.5-2mm, elastic modulus at 2-6×103N/cm2) having the adhesion to at least one part on a body-to-be- polished carrier 1, and furthermore, attaching an optical crystal 7 on the elastic body 6 and a polishing process for polishing the optical crystal 7 by moving it relatively with a fixed polisher 5, to which the polishing liquid is atomized.
