Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a good joining by joining with the heat generation and the heating according to the electric conduction between a first metallic member and a second metallic member under the surface contacting state so that the contacting surface beforehand becomes a specific value.
SOLUTION: The electric conduction and the pressurization are beforehand executed under the surface contacting state between the first joining surface part 3a of a valve seat 3 and the second joining surface part 2a of a cylinder head main body 2. In such a case, the surface contact is indicated to be 400-200 mm2 contacting area. Then, a material of the valve seat 3 is made of a sintered material, in which Fe base powder raw material obtd. by dispersing Cu as an element having high electric conductivity is sintered so as to be joined without fusing/infiltrating Cu base material into the pores in the inner part thereof. Therefore, even if the pores exist, the resistance value of the valve seat 3 can be restrained to be low with the Cu beforehand dispersed as the same degree as the material obtd. by fusing/infiltrating the Cu base material. In this result, the heat generation in the inner part at the time of applying the power is restrained and the joining can be executed in good condition.
