Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to lay an optical cable on the inside of an water pipe without being influenced by an water flow by inserting the optical cable into a gap between a laid pipe and an inner pipe and holding the cable in the laid pipe.
SOLUTION: Prior to the insertion of an inner pipe into a laid water pipe 1, the laid water pipe 1 between working pits 5, 7 is previously washed and an optical cable 3 is inserted from one working pit 5, passed through the renewed water pipe 1 and extracted from the other pit 7 to the surface of ground. In the state, the tip of the inner pipe formed as a thin diameter by a pipe making machine 6 in the pipe 1 is sent up to the other working pit 7. The diameter of the inner pipe with the thin diameter inserted into the pipe 1 is gradually extended from the head of the other working pit to the working pit 5 by a diameter extension control system and extended over the whole length in the pipe 1. The optical cable inserted into the pipe 1 is held between the pipe 1 and the inner pipe stuck by the diameter extension.
