Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for protecting access to a specific file stored in a memory medium to which access can be performed by a computer.
CONSTITUTION: Plural files including at least one enciphered file and at least one non-enciphered file are stored in a memory medium 213 to which access can be performed by a computer. The previously selected part of each enciphered file is recorded in the memory, a cryptoanalyzing block including information available for the cyptoanalysis of the file is generated, and the cryptoanalvzing block is integrated into the file instead of the previously selected part recorded in the memory. Afterwards, data processing system calling related with the files stored in the memory medium to which access can be performed by the computer is monitored by using a file management program. The file management program decides whether or not the called file includes the related cyptoanalyzing block, and the file is processed in a specific method according to the result.
