PURPOSE: To safely coat the inner surface of a pipe by using a resin paint contg. a liq. epoxy resin as an essential component and a curing agent contg. the condensation product obtained by the reaction of a polyamine having a cyclic structure in the molecule with thiourea, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The components of the epoxy resin paint consisting of an essential component and a curing agent are mixed, and then the mixture is injected to line the inner surface of a pipe. The resin paint of the process contains (A) the liq. epoxy resin essential component having at least two epoxy groups in one molecule and (B) the curing agent contg. the condensation product obtained by the reaction of a polyamine having a cyclic structure in the molecule with the thiourea or ammonium thiocyanate in the 1.0/(0.05W0.5) molar ratio of the polyamine to the thiourea, etc. As a result, a cured film is formed in a short time, the unreacted components are not eluted into water from the coated film even when the film is brought into contact with drinking water after 2W3hr, and the inner surface can be safely lined.
