PURPOSE: To prevent highly piled condition of solid particles by making a ship incline right and left every certain period of time, allowing the water of slurry to be shaken and breaking down the piled condition, in a coal slurry ship, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The hatch covers of the all holds are opened before loading and all the starboard side hatch covers 31...35 of the holds 21...25, except a hold 24 used for the cargo work, are moved up to closed condition. Thereby the center of gravity of the ship is moved and the ship is inclined on the port side. A similar operation is carried out after a certain period of time during the cargo work, making the ship incline on the starboard side. And, this operation is repeated every certain period of time making the ship inclined alternately right and left. Thereby the water of slurry is shaken preventing coal from being piled up.
