To provide a method for making a highly sensitive planographic printing plate that is superior in daylight handleability, and excels in printing durability and in shelf life as a planographic printing plate, and to provide a planographic printing plate manufactured by the method.
In the method for making a planographic printing plate, after an image has been exposed on a planographic printing plate material on which a polymerizable compound having an ethylenic unsaturated group on an aluminum support, an optical polymerization initiator, a photosensitive layer containing a sensitizing dye, and an oxygen barrier layer are disposed, in this order; and thereafter heat-treatment is carried out for 5 seconds to 3 minutes at the plate temperature of 80-150°C within 10 minutes, and successively, a development processing is conducted.
