Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a die with an irregular shape for an antiglare film preventing white blurring while exhibiting high antiglare effects, arranged in an image forming device and preventing glaring and decline in contrast, and manufacture the excellent antiglare film by using the die.SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the die for manufacturing the antiglare film and method of manufacturing the antiglare film by using the die include: a polishing step of polishing a surface of a die base material 1; a first irregular face formation step of forming a first irregular face 4 comprising a flat part and recessed parts 3 on the polished face; a second irregular face formation step of forming a second irregular face 11 by blunting the first irregular face 4 by etching treatment; and a plating step of applying chrome plating to the formed second irregular face 11. When an area of the flat part of the first irregular face 4 is represented as A (%), average depth of the recessed parts 3 as B (μm), an average value of center-to-center linear distances of the recessed parts 3 as C (μm) and etching depth in the second irregular face formation step as D (μm), specified conditions are satisfied.
