Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a carrier tape that does not form a heater mark on the carrier tape and is easy to form a pocket into a designed shape, and a carrier tape.
The method for manufacturing a carrier tape 200 includes a heating process and a molding process. In the heating process, predetermined parts of a resin composite sheet 210 are heated by at least either one of electromagnetic waves and ultrasonic waves. In the molding process, pockets 220 are formed at the predetermined parts of the resin composite sheet 210 heated in the heating process.
