Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a functional member which stably shows high performance for a long period of time.
The manufacturing method comprises: the dispersion step of at first preparing a raw liquid by mixing an organic solvent with a zeolite powder, and then applying a supersonic vibration to the raw liquid to uniformly disperse zeolite particles (26) into the organic solvent; the subsequent mixing step of adding a comparatively little amount of a binder solution to the raw liquid having passed through the dispersion step; and the depositing step performed just after having finished the mixing step, of depositing the zeolite particles (26) onto the surface of the metal substrate (25) with an electrophoretic process.
