Abstract:
To provide a magnesium oxide for annealing separation agent for providing a directional electromagnetic steel sheet excellent in magnetic property and insulation property.SOLUTION: There is provided magnesium oxide for annealing separation agent containing boron of 400 to 1500 mass.ppm, sodium of 1 to 650 mass.ppm, chlorine of 500 mass.ppm or less, sulfur in terms of SOof 0.10 to 0.70 mass%, and having a molar ratio of boron, sodium, chlorine, and sulfur (Cl+S)/(B+Na) of 0.20 to 0.40, and a directional electromagnetic steel sheet is manufactured by using the same.SELECTED DRAWING: None
