To provide a method for manufacturing a magnetic core, by which a magnetic core part can be easily temporarily fixed, and also provide the magnetic core, an electromagnetic converter, a clock, and electronic equipment.
The magnetic core part 16, a remaining base material part 42, and a coupling part 43 are formed by press processing from a base material 40. Cuts 18A are formed at the peripheral edge of the magnetic core part 16. A temporary fixing part 18 is formed, by bending the magnetic core part 16 between the cuts 18A in the plate thickness direction. When the magnetic core parts 16 are cut from the coupling part 43, in piles of plural sheets of the base materials 40, the magnetic core parts 16 are pressed in the mutually approaching direction, the temporary fixing part 18 is fitted to a space between the cuts 18A of the other magnetic core part 16, and the other magnetic core part 16 is fixed temporarily. The temporary fixing of the magnetic core part can be executed simply, since the temporary fixing is simultaneously executed by the press processing, in a cutting process which is executed normally.
