Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing an aesthetic molding in a short molding cycle by suppressing defects of the resultant molding, such as deformation, uneven luster and uneven transfer.
The method for manufacturing a molding includes a heating step of heating with a heating means a cavity surface of either of a pair of dies each having a cavity surface for forming a cavity, a supply step of supplying a thermoplastic resin into the cavity, and a cooling step of cooling the supplied thermoplastic resin. The ratio (a/b) of the thermal conductivity a of the cavity surface of the die that is not heated in the heating step to the thermal conductivity b of the cavity surface of the die that is heated is 1/2.
