Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing particles for diagnostic products capable of easily and efficiently preparing the particles for the diagnostic products having a uniform particle diameter in which magnetic particulates do not come off or substances such as iron ions derived from magnetic components do not elute.
SOLUTION: The method of this invention for manufacturing the particles for the diagnostic products includes a process for forming a polymer layer on a magnetic layer by polymerization in the presence of base particles. In the base particles, magnetic layers are formed on the surfaces of nucleus particles. The magnetic layer contains at least either Fe2O3 or Fe3O4. The average particle diameter of the nucleus particles is 0.4-200 μm.
