Abstract:
To manufacture a PET bottle-recycled eating utensil, which can be used as an eating utensil with sufficient heat resistance and bending strength (rigidity) only by use of a recycled PET material.
A collected used PET bottle is cut and formed into flakes. The flakes are cleaned and finely pulverized to be converted to recycled PET material used as raw material. The recycled PET material is molded into a predetermined shape as an eating utensil by an injection molding machine. Thereafter, the molded article is heated at 150-200°C for 2-5 min by an infrared heater to be thermally crystallized so as to be used as an eating utensil, and cooled.
