To easily manufacture plastic lenses in various shapes while saving lens materials with a simple operation.
A lower glass mold 102 that has a disk shape and an upper glass mold 103 whose diameter is smaller than that of the lower glass mold 102 are integrally secured with a recess 104H. The lower glass mold 102 and a sheet mold 104 having the same outer diameter are disposed to be opposite, each other, with a predetermined spacing apart, and reeled with an adhesive tape 106 to stretch over peripheral surfaces of the lower glass mold 102 and the sheet mold 104. Thus, a cavity is formed between the lower glass mold 102 and the upper glass mold 103. Lens materials for plastic lenses for glasses are filled in the cavity, and taken out from the cavity after heat-curing treatment to form the plastic lenses for the glasses.
