To provide a method of manufacturing a vibration isolating device capable of easily and securely preventing an outer tube from falling even if a rubber elastic body is broken.
This method of manufacturing the vibration isolating device comprises a step for vulcanizing/molding the vibration isolating device 10 having an inner tube 12, the outer tube 14, and the rubber elastic body 16 connecting these both tubes to each other and a step for drawing to reduce the diameter of the outer tube 14 by using a drawing device 50 after vulcanizing/molding the vibration isolating device. In the drawing step for the outer tube 14, while the diameter of the outer tube 14 is reduced by the drawing device 50, a recessed part 24 is formed by circumferentially bending a part of the axial end part of the outer tube 14 to the radial inner side by a projected part 76 formed on the inner peripheral surface of a drawing die 52.
