Title:
METHOD OF MEASURING GEL FRACTION IN RESIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006023104
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method capable of measuring easily and quickly a gel fraction in a resin containing a gel such as the resin of a main component for an adhesive applied onto an optical film or the like, with a small amount of sample.

In this method for measuring the gel fraction in the resin, pulse magnetic field gradient spin echo NMR measurement for a solution of the resin sample containing the gel is executed while changing a magnetic field gradient intensity or the like, processing corresponding to inverse Laplace transformation is applied on a measured result therein to obtain a two-dimensional NMR spectrum, using a chemical shift as an abscissa and using a diffusion coefficient as an ordinate, the number N of components is found based on the two-dimensional NMR spectrum, a coefficient thereof is found to approximate a theoretical expression to attenuation with respect to a change of the magnetic field gradient intensity, a magnetic field gradient pulse length or a diffusion time of an NMR peak intensity in the chemical shift having a signal, as to each of all the N number of components, and the gel fraction (%) is calculated based on the obtained coefficient.
