Title:
METHOD FOR MEASURING LIGAND BY FLUORESCENT POLARIZING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03170864
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the stability of the buffer solution of monoclonal antibody by mixing sample with specific tracer compound, monoclonal antibody and glycerol and measuring the amount of the bonded tracer compound.

CONSTITUTION: Sample is mixed with tracer compound represented by a formula (R is a ligand or ligand similarity, and N is a integer of 1 to 10), biologically allowable salt of the tracer compound, monoclonal antibody, and glucerol. Then, the amount of the tracer compound bonded to the antibody is measured by a fluorescent polarizing method, and the amount of the ligand in the sample is determined. At this time, the monoclonal antibody can be specifically recognized together with the measured ligand and tracer compound, and the amount of the glycerol in the antibody solution is sufficient to enhance the stability of the monoclonal antibody to a significant range.
