CONSTITUTION: For example, in the case of measuring an absorption volume, after evacuation of a sample pipe S2 and a valve V2 part, and the pipe S2 is removed together with the vale V2 so as to measure the weight WO thereof. Then, after a solid sample is charged into the pipe S2, the weight WU is measured so that the weight WS of the sample is measured by the difference between the weights, WS=WU-WO. Then, valves V2, V3, V6 are closed while valves V1, V4, V5 are opened, and absorption is made by a vacuum pump P so that a mass flow controller MF is operated by saturated vapor in a sample pipe S1. Then, the valve V2 is opened while the valve V5 is closed so as to record a measured value by a pressure meter PM. Further, when the pressure of the pipe Sc2 side reaches the saturated vapor pressure, the valve V2 is closed while the valve V5 is opened so as to stop the absorption. Further, the weight of the substance to be absorbed, which has flown into the pipe S2 is obtained from the weight WE of the pipe S2 after the absorption and the weight WU.
