Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for modifying a fluoric resin by which a fine pulverizable process can be easily carried out, and to provide a fine fluoric resin powder excellent in abrasion resistance obtained by the method.
SOLUTION: After the first irradiation process of the fluoric resin with an electron beam at a melting temperature or above and an oxygen concentration of 10 torr or less, the second irradiation process with a radioactive ray of 1 MGy or less is carried out at an ordinary temperature in air.
