Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for collecting the specified quantity of attachment from the pipe installed in the water in a reactor pressure vessel, prohibiting collection of internal wall attachment from a branch pipe.
SOLUTION: An inlet mixer 3 is placed on a bearer 11 of a pipe internal wall attachment collecting device 10 provided at a reactor well 8, and a pump 16 is driven to suck water in the inlet mixer 3 through a filter 15. At this time, a motor 14 is driven to rotate a brush 13. The internal wall attachment is thereby separated and recovered by a filter 15. If necessary, after completing collection, calipers or the like are used to confirm the surface area of a part from which the attachment is separated. After collecting work is completed, the inlet mixer 3 is restored. The specified quantity of attachment can be collected even frame pipe installed in the reactor pressure vessel, prohibiting collection of the internal wall attachment from a branch pipe and re-injection timing of zirconium or the like can be evaluated.
