Abstract:

To provide a portable articulated arm coordinate measuring machine (AACMM).

A portable articulated arm coordinate measuring machine 100 including a base 116 is provided. A cover 124 is rotatably coupled to the base 116 so as to move between a closing position and an opening position. A display 426 is arranged in the cover 124. The display 426 includes a screen surface 428 such as a touch screen, which is arranged on one side of an enclosure 400. The screen surface 428 is close to the base 116 in the closing position and is arranged obliquely to the base 116 in the opening position.
