Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply mount or remove a plate cylinder of a printing machine.
SOLUTION: A drum 3 of the plate cylinder is removed from a journal 4 and besides, the other journal is set away remotely. After that, the extension part 17 of a spindle 8 is connected to the end part of the spindle 8, for the plate cylinder, which is set free by the other journal kept remotely, in the same fashion as the other journal. Further, the drum 3 is pushed away onto the extension part 17 of the spindle, which is, in turn, removed from the spindile 8 and carried out together with the drum 3. Finally, the drum 3 is removed and mounted by arranging so that the reverse process is performed as the characteristics of this method.
