Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a means for sharply reducing the complexity of a globe decoding method in the receiver of a MIMO communication system if a spatial/temporal dispersion symbol coder is used in a transmitter.
SOLUTION: This is a method which presumes a plurality of transmission symbols transmitted at a specified transmissions time by first two or more (M pieces) transmitting antennae, using signals received with third two or more (N pieces) receiving antennae, and each symbol belongs to modulation arrangement, and this method includes a step of forming a vector ((∼)y) which shows the reception time or the second two or more ( L pieces) successive received signals stated above at the reception time, and a step of searching the above nearest vector from among hypothesis vectors (z) which belong to the lattice of the dots including the subset (II) of the dots expressing the optional coupling of the above possible symbols, being made of a plurality of vectors (v1, v2, ∼, vk).
