Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a colored layer from turning to yellow in the heat treatment of thermosetting fat, etc., by providing an inorganic layer on the colored layer. CONSTITUTION:The color filter 1 has the colored layer 7, partitioned with a black matrix 3, on a transparent base plate 2 and the colored layer is provided with a red picture element 7R, a green picture element 7G, and a blue picture element 7B; and the inorganic layer 8, a transparent protection layer 9, and a transparent electrode film 10 are formed on the colored layer 7 and the inorganic layer is bonded strongly to the transparent base plate 2 at a peripheral edge part 11. Namely, the layer 8 which cuts off inorganic oxygen is formed on the colored layer 7 to prevent the oxygen from being in contact with the colored layer 7 when the respective layers are heated and cured. Consequently, the colored layer is not turned to yellow and prevented from deterioration in spectral characteristics.
