Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a compound useful for prophylaxis and treatment of hepatitis B infection, or a pharmaceutically acceptable enantiomer or a diastereomer thereof.SOLUTION: 1,2,5,6-di-O- isopropylidene-α-D-glucofuranose is used as a starting material, and eight steps of operation are conducted, to give a sugar moiety of the following compound (I). The compound (I) is prepared by coupling with a thiazolopyrimidine derivative as the aglycon and forming and precipitating a salt with an acid component.SELECTED DRAWING: None
