Abstract:
To provide a method for producing a 9,10-dialkoxyanthracene-2-carboxylic acid compound and a use of the compound.
The method for producing a 9,10-dialkoxyanthracene-2-carboxylic acid compound characterized by reducing 9,10-anthraquinone-2-carboxylic acid and then etherifying the resultant product, a visible-light polymerization initiator containing the resultant etherified compound and a method for curing a photocurable composition containing the visible-light polymerization initiator are provided.
